Summer Home Build – Ensenada, Mexico

Dates: August 6-11, 2023 (Sunday through Friday)

Project: Complete a 12’x’24 foot home for a single mom and her two kids

Cost: $800/person (includes round trip travel from San Diego to Ensenada, lodging, meals, and building materials.  Does not include gifts and souvenirs)

General Information: Accommodations will be provided by Las Tres Palmas, a private property designed to host and feed teams coming in to serve from the U.S.  They have been around for nearly 25 years and have a great reputation with the locals.  Sleeping will be in two large rooms, one for girls and one for boys and is bunk style like at camp.  You will need to bring your own bedding/sleeping bag.  There is a shared bathroom for each room with two showers, sinks, and toilets.  Extra private bathrooms are also on site.  Electronics are welcomed but will only be allowed use during free time in the evenings and there is no wifi.  Team members will be transported to the build site each day around 8am and will return late in the afternoon around 4pm.

Itinerary:
• Depart Sunday afternoon and arrive in the evening for a taco dinner.

• Monday-Thursday will be the house build plus some fun time in the town for ice cream, churros, and definitely more tacos.

• Friday we will pack up and head out for shopping and sight-seeing before returning stateside. We plan to be back in San Diego in the early evening.
